Description: This kit includes 2 stainless steel latches, 2 single-screw attachment posts, and 6 stainless steel hi-low thread screws. The latches feature a stainless steel hinge and faceplate, with plastic edging and backing for added durability. The stainless steel components are rust-resistant and built to last longer, ensuring a longer cooler life. The beveled latch edge helps deflect impact and reduces the chance of breakage. These latches are specifically designed for maximum performance in marine environments. They are durable, easy to clean, and require low maintenance. Please note that they are not compatible with Igloo thermoelectric coolers or the 150-165 QT Igloo coolers that require large black plastic latches.

Product Features

Description: This set includes 3 hinges and 12 stainless steel hi-low thread screws. The hinge size is 2.5 inches x 1.25 inches. These hinges are compatible with most Igloo rectangular-shaped ice chests up to 165 QT. They are designed for maximum performance in marine environments, ensuring durability, easy maintenance, and longevity. Similar to the latches, these hinges are not compatible with Igloo thermoelectric coolers, metal chest coolers, BMX coolers, Roto Molded coolers, or Sportsman coolers. They are also not compatible with the 150-165 QT Igloo coolers that require oversized black plastic hinges.

Latch Installation Instructions

To install the latch properly: 1. Fully open/extend the top hinge portion of the latch. 2. Turn the latch upside down with the back side facing out. 3. Use a screwdriver to attach the latch to the cooler using 2 screws. 4. In the closed position, the screws should be hidden as the latch will fold over itself and conceal them. 5. When replacing the latch, it is not necessary to change the factory placement of the latch post.
